Job Summary

Own platform production readiness for Mastercard’s Decision Management BizOps team by improving service lifecycles from design through deployment and operations. Build and support CI/CD pipelines, implement reliability practices (availability, latency, monitoring, self-healing), and lead DevOps automation and best practices. Triage and root-cause production issues, practice incident response and blameless postmortems, and collaborate with global development and operations teams while mentoring junior resources.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage in and improve the full lifecycle of services—from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
•Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
•Support services before go-live via system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
•Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health; improve reliability and velocity through automation.
•Support CI/CD pipeline promotion across environments with validation and operational gating; lead DevOps automation and best practices, including incident response and blameless postmortems.

Key Requirements

•BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (or equivalent practical experience).
•Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
•Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
•Systematic problem-solving with strong communication skills, ownership, and drive.
•Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef (or equivalent CI/CD flow).
