Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
  • •Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises and to/from customer dealerships and businesses while following driving rules and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving.
  • •Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed, move vehicles as necessary, and locate “lost” vehicles.
  • •Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed, including inflating tires and jump-starting with a battery box and air tank.
  • •Assist customers and coworkers as needed and follow all safety and health procedures; may perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as business needs dictate.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • •Ability to constantly enter and exit vehicles, and sit for prolonged periods.
  • •Ability to walk long distances and regularly stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
  • •Ability to lift 1–15 pounds and meet required physical demands (stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb).
  • •Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles; previous auction experience.
