Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate processing/equipment to produce product within Quality Assurance guidelines and to the highest possible quality standard.
  • •Properly mix ingredients and monitor correct temperature/moisture, making adjustments as needed; monitor and remove improperly formed/overlapped product.
  • •Operate and shut down equipment per established procedures, including changeovers and preventative maintenance.
  • •Read and follow batch sheets; accurately weigh raw materials and monitor/log temperatures, mix times, item numbers, and raw material weights.
  • •Follow sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and safety/hygiene guidelines; monitor for foreign matter; track and dispose of waste and move raw ingredients using material handling equipment.
