Job Summary

Lead end-to-end cost management on large real estate projects in a client-facing role within Turner & Townsend’s Real Estate team in Cairo. You will oversee pre-contract feasibility, tendering, cost planning, and post-contract cost control, delivering accurate cost reports and final accounts while guiding a cost management team and engaging with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

•Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
•Production of full Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
•Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preparing preambles and preliminaries, tender queries, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.
•Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable.
•Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place.

Key Requirements

•Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
•In country (Egypt) experience is required
•Minimum 10+ years of experience in similar roles.
•Professional membership is an advantage i.e. MRICS
•Prior consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
