Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform system-level and subassembly-level builds involving small-gauge wiring, soldering, crimping, and cable routing following engineering schematics and work instructions.
  • •Assemble, rework, and upgrade electro-mechanical products in accordance with MIL-STD drawings, Raytheon process specifications, and quality requirements.
  • •Support mechanical and electrical assembly of shipboard hardware, including chassis, wiring harnesses, through-hole CCAs, and component board assemblies.
  • •Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and connector pin-outs for routine to moderately complex assemblies.
  • •Perform in-process checks, visual inspections, and functional testing to verify compliance with engineering documentation and customer requirements

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • •Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly
  • •Minimum of 2 years of production hand-soldering experience
  • •Experience with electromechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
  • •Ability to obtain required certifications for IPC-A-620, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610
