Job Summary

Be the consultative sales and customer relationship partner for retail and small business clients by assessing financial needs, recommending solutions, and proactively driving appointments and periodic financial reviews. Cross-sell products, support outside sales activities, and collaborate with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment). You’ll also process teller transactions, follow retail policies and risk procedures, and complete onboarding rotations and required certification.

Key Responsibilities

•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to identify and meet customers’ current and future financial needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business products/services and use approved marketing tools (including CAMP) to reach out and set appointment reviews.
•Drive cross-selling to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Build relationships with assigned business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) and refer customers to provide holistic solutions.
•Process teller transactions and support platform staff while following bank policies and procedures, handling confidentiality, and reporting/managing risk.

Key Requirements

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, leading to a certification.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current/future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions and registration required).
