Support Trane Technologies’ Corporate Center for Energy Efficiency & Sustainability (CEES) by advancing enterprise clean energy and operational sustainability strategy. Analyze the relationship between the electric grid and building energy use, including electrification, distributed energy resources, demand flexibility, and grid-interactive opportunities.

•Support the evolution and implementation of clean energy and operational sustainability strategies.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute energy and sustainability projects across manufacturing facilities and operational sites.
•Evaluate sustainability initiatives such as renewable energy opportunities, efficiency improvements, and emissions-reduction measures.
•Track clean energy market trends, policy developments, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and risk/opportunity assessments.
•Assess grid and building energy interactions, including electrification impacts, demand flexibility, and distributed energy resources, and identify site responses to optimize sustainability and cost outcomes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
•4–7+ years of experience in energy management, sustainability, facility operations, or related roles.
•Experience with renewable energy technologies and energy systems/efficiency concepts, including sustainable data center design.
•Ability to coordinate or contribute to energy or sustainability projects with strong analytical skills and clear, actionable insights.
•Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences and collaboration across functions to influence outcomes.

Education:Bachelor's in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related technical field
