Job Summary

Join Fortinet’s Burnaby Release QA team to ensure Fortinet products such as FortiOS, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and FortiClient meet high release standards. You will execute regression testing (manual and automated), write and maintain automation scripts, identify and track defects, and collaborate with Developers, QA and Product teams to deliver clear release notes and robust quality for market-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute regression testing on Fortinet products using both manual and automated techniques, and create, maintain and execute test specifications and test cases
•Write and maintain automation scripts for regression suites
•Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing and ensure accurate reproduction
•Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed and collaborate with QA, product managers and others on feature understanding
•Document and publish release notes, user guides, reference materials and use case scenarios for new product releases

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of software testing experience
•Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF and BGP, and switching
•Experience with Virtual machine environments (VMware/ESXi, Hypervisor)

•Experience with firewalls, Linux and packet sniffing
