Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement credit policies, guidelines, and procedures in partnership with business units and first/second lines of defense.
  • •Promote consistency of the bank’s credit culture and lending strategies, championing risk management culture, framework, and appetite.
  • •Provide oversight and feedback to business unit leaders to ensure asset quality, manage risk concentrations and exceptions, and support sustainable performance.
  • •Perform independent credit risk assessments on transactions adjudicated by business units and provide timely actionable feedback.
  • •Manage and maintain consumer credit policies, standards, and procedures; coordinate with business units and stakeholders on strategy development and ongoing maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent education and related training.
  • •7 years of credit related experience including underwriting/credit approval, documentation, modeling, and problem loan experience.
  • •7+ years of related experience including consumer, small business, credit card, mortgage, and wealth.
  • •Consumer risk and regulatory knowledge.
  • •Ability to think strategically, multi-task, drive change, and communicate clearly (verbal and written).
