Key Responsibilities

  • •Support developmental tests in the manufacturing line and/or perform testing in a laboratory environment.
  • •Operate and/or execute process steps using processing equipment, manual processing, test equipment, and metrology tools.
  • •Follow work instructions and interpret task documents; perform basic analytics to ensure proper tool operation and test execution.
  • •Ensure all tests are complete per schedule, including sample acquiring, testing, and data entry for development tests.
  • •Communicate immediately any abnormal findings on the product or testing equipment; adhere to safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.84 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing or lab environments, or 1 year as an Engineering Test Support I at First Solar.
  • •Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and test plans.
  • •Average ability to use tools and operating equipment (e.g., micrometers, multimeters, power supplies, data loggers, and other process/test equipment).
  • •Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
  • •Ability to learn and use JMP and SQL applications; able to run JMP scripts and analyze simple datasets using JMP and SQL upon training.
