Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute strategic PR plans for high-impact earned media and owned content that communicate Applied’s story as an AI-era technology enabler.
  • •Build relationships with journalists and media partners, organize media roundtables, and lead proactive executive thought leadership initiatives.
  • •Support major corporate announcements (earnings, partnerships, M&A, and manufacturing stories) and develop PR assets such as press releases, messaging documents, Q&As, and story pitches.
  • •Identify and manage Tier-1 speaking opportunities for senior executives and advance external communications strategy.
  • •Manage the digital newsroom, perform story mining with internal stakeholders, and use data-driven tracking and reporting to measure corporate PR performance.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10 years of experience in B2B tech, media, or adjacent industries, with semiconductor industry experience preferred.
  • •Exceptional writing skills to unpack complex technology and create compelling messages for external audiences.
  • •Proven track record in high-impact journalism, corporate PR teams, or agencies.
  • •Strong relationship-building skills with journalists and influencers, and experience managing agencies (ideally in semiconductors).
