Job Summary

Build customer relationships and identify financial needs using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment. Learn Retail consumer and small business products, recommend solutions, and use CAMP and approved marketing tools to set appointments for periodic reviews. Cross-sell, support outside sales activities, collaborate with business partners (mortgage, small business, commercial, investment), and help meet production and customer experience goals while processing teller transactions and following risk and ethical policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and approved marketing tools to set appointments for financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and partner with business teams (e.g., mortgage, small business, commercial and investment) to refer customers as appropriate.

Key Requirements

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program leading to Personal Banker I certification.
•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Ability to use consultative sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
