Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess deployment locations via site surveys, including site conditions, infrastructure, power, communications, and environmental limits, to support integration planning.
  • •Install, set up, and configure systems at customer sites and ensure readiness meets technical and operational requirements before handover.
  • •Configure and validate deployed systems and new capabilities prior to operational use.
  • •Serve as the primary field troubleshooter, diagnosing and fixing hardware, software, and subsystem issues quickly.
  • •Own field sustainment activities, including parts readiness, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, configuration records, approved field modifications, and integration support.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (STEM focus) with 5+ years as a Telecommunications Technician, Field Engineering Specialist, or in an engineering role, or a bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technology field.
  • •2+ years of experience working with electrical and radio-frequency (RF) systems.
  • •Hands-on experience conducting site surveys and installing technical systems in the field.
  • •Deep expertise in communications systems, including installing, integrating, and testing radios, datalinks, antennas, and network equipment.
  • •Proven experience troubleshooting complex technical systems in field or operational settings; ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
