Job Summary

Manage a commercial middle-market loan/credit portfolio through ongoing financial analysis, forward-looking risk assessment, and proactive monitoring of borrower performance. Partner with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk across the deal lifecycle, handling credit structuring, pricing, risk ratings, and due diligence. Lead renewals, modifications, exits, and underwriting/documentation decisions while ensuring adherence to credit policy and regulatory guidelines. Provide portfolio performance reporting and guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain a current, forward-looking view of client creditworthiness and clearly communicate risk perspectives to business and risk partners.
•Perform ongoing monitoring and periodic deal reviews; approve or recommend renewal, modification, or exit decisions.
•Analyze historical financials and projections to ensure accurate risk ratings and early identification of emerging credit issues.
•Manage underwriting, approval, and documentation for transactions, including renewals, extensions, amendments, waivers, and ancillary products.
•Oversee portfolio risk outcomes, ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines, and provide reporting and guidance to junior team members.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,500 - 207,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial banking, portfolio management, underwriting, or a related discipline.
•Subject-matter expert understanding of accounting, credit analysis, portfolio management, structuring, underwriting, and legal documentation.
•Strong risk judgment and ability to manage complex, higher-risk portfolios.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with business and risk partners.
