Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive quality processes and ensure adequate test coverage for audio-related features in Premiere Pro.
  • •Define test strategies for new features, deciding what to test manually vs automate, and write and maintain test cases/scripts.
  • •Perform detailed testing of new features, including audio processing quality and fidelity judgment, across macOS and Windows and varying hardware configurations.
  • •Write clear, reproducible bug reports and support regression testing by verifying fixes prior to releases.
  • •Collaborate with engineering, cross-functional teams, and customers to capture feedback, diagnose issues, and contribute product feedback for release readiness decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or TV/Film/Media, or 3 years relevant practical experience in media or post-production.
  • •Proficiency with Adobe Premiere (or another non-linear editing application) and familiarity with video and audio tools.
  • •Understanding of real-world editorial workflows and performance factors, with interest in audio workflows, applications, and technology.
  • •Problem-solving skills with attention to detail, plus good communication skills.
  • •Typescript/python scripting skills are a plus; proficiency with test, bug, and task management tools is a plus.
