Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in developing commodity strategies to achieve cost savings and improve quality and service levels through sourcing strategies for complex negotiations.
  • •Oversee spend activity for the assigned commodity and determine action plans for purchases meeting procurement thresholds.
  • •Join and potentially lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives, including competitive bidding and contract negotiations/redlining using an Agile contracting framework.
  • •Provide category procurement subject matter expertise as a trusted advisor, determining product/service specifications and projected demand.
  • •Stay current with the industry supply base and trends, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and prioritize projects using analytical tools to generate benefits.
