Key Responsibilities

  • •Define data engineering strategy aligned with organizational data and AI priorities, including cloud-native platforms and modern architectures (data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh).
  • •Oversee design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and integrations, including performant and maintainable Snowflake-based ELT workloads using Snowpark.
  • •Implement dbt transformation layers (models, tests, docs) to deliver version-controlled, analytics-ready data products with repeatable deployments.
  • •Enable governed downstream BI consumption by publishing performant, well-governed Tableau data sources and improving dashboard reliability.
  • •Manage data platform production support by establishing incident/problem procedures, escalation paths, and post-incident learnings to protect reliability and SLA.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong Snowflake data engineering skills (SQL and Snowpark), including incremental processing and operational automation with native platform capabilities.
  • •Proficiency in dbt for modular transformations with built-in testing and documentation in a production workflow.
  • •Experience with data visualization using Tableau or Python libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly.
  • •Strong understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and modern analytics on cloud platforms.
  • •Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms across Snowflake and GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow) and familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
