Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and lead multidisciplined project teams from scoping through detailed design and construction support of medium to high voltage utility substations
  • •Perform high-level quality/cross-discipline design reviews of Substation Physical, P&C, and Civil Structural drawing packages
  • •Mentor and direct others in the detailed design of substations including client standards, one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, and related components
  • •Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality for assigned projects
  • •Coordinate, review and approve electrical infrastructure design plans, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • •7 to 10 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design for capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution
  • •Engineer license required
  • •Proficiency with electrical engineering principles, practices, and design/build processes for permitting and project work
  • •Experience with electrical infrastructure planning, design, and construction management, including rehabilitation, new design, and construction projects
