Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, test, and sustain PLC programs, function blocks/AOIs, and interfaces using approved coding, tag, alarm, diagnostic, and documentation standards.
  • •Control software changes through impact/risk assessment, peer review, validation, rollback readiness, and change record governance.
  • •Execute FAT/SAT and equipment acceptance activities, including punch-list closure, supplier retest support, production-release support, and final handover of as-built code, parameters, and training records.
  • •Build HMI/SCADA capabilities and integrate PLCs with MES/APM/LMIS using approved tags and OPC-UA, validating machine states, counts, rejects, and traceability end to end.
  • •Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks and OT cybersecurity/recovery practices, and commission/troubleshoot vision and robotics interfaces for powertrain equipment.
  • •Provide controls support from commissioning through sustaining production, including downtime analysis, countermeasure verification, and participation in CBM/spares/obsolescence planning.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of hands-on PLC-based discrete automation experience.
  • •Develop PLC and HMI solutions plus experience with equipment commissioning, FAT/SAT, launch, or high-volume ramp.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot electrical/I/O/network panels and safety circuits using structured RCA and provide permanent corrective actions.
  • •Fluent professional in English and ability to work safely around automated equipment and HV processes.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
