Job Summary

Lead a customer-focused commercial team responsible for estimating, order fulfillment, and project execution. Develop and manage Estimating, Customer Service, and Project Management teams to drive operational excellence through accurate, proactive customer communication. Partner across Sales, Engineering, Production, Transportation, and Finance/Credit/Collections to forecast demand, manage sales orders, resolve issues, negotiate back charges, and deliver orders on-time and on-budget while improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and lead teams of estimators, customer service representatives, and project lead personnel to process orders, service customers, manage risk, and improve internal processes.
•Develop and streamline processes to manage sales orders and maintain a long-term schedule across product lines.
•Forecast shipments monthly, quarterly, and annually to support planning and execution.
•Review customer purchase orders for compliance with approved price levels, terms, and cycle commitments; coordinate hand-off to project execution teams.
•Manage change orders and proactively minimize, respond to, and negotiate customer back charges to ensure orders are delivered on-time and on-budget.

Key Requirements

•BS degree or equivalent industry experience required; MBA preferred.
•5+ years of sales and/or operations management experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments.
•Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints and contracts.
•Strong business and financial acumen to support profitable sales and business decisions.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software; process improvement/lean manufacturing certification preferred.
