Job Summary

The role trains and operates CNC milling/grinding equipment to produce weldments and assemblies for aerospace manufacturing. You’ll complete structured training, learn setup, quality verification, TPM upkeep, and collaborate with engineers, QA and production teams to resolve machining issues, contributing to a high-precision, on-site manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Attend a 3-week training and 4-8 weeks of on-the-job training to become a Certified Operator.
•Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes or VTCs to perform routine production operations.
•Learn to work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instructions to set up equipment.
•Learn to verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
•Obtain operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts and perform TPM.
•Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development.
