Job Summary

Support NRG’s NERC Operations and Planning compliance program as part of the ETS Electrical NERC team. You will assess and document protection system settings for NERC PRC compliance, review maintenance results and recommend corrective actions, and support NERC MOD modeling tests at power plants. Maintain compliance documentation, analyze plant data against NERC FAC/TPL/VAR standards, and assist with regional audits, emergent generator system issue resolution, and cross-functional project integration.

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical/control engineering or related field from an accredited college or university (commensurate experience may substitute).
•Experience navigating engineering tools such as ETAP, EPRI PPPD, Siemens PSS/E, and ASPEN is a plus.
