Key Responsibilities

  • •Simulate and model RF front-end systems with system architects and RF/ASIC teams to partition hardware and software domains.
  • •Derive RF hardware specifications for the RF system and RF blocks.
  • •Develop RF/microwave circuits, components, MMICs, and board/package designs.
  • •Evaluate, characterize, and analyze prototypes and full radio performance.
  • •Assist in automated test equipment development and support production testing with manufacturing engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •2+ years of research and/or industry experience in RF/microwave circuit design.
  • •Familiarity with RF passive components and radio performance characterization at microwave frequencies.
  • •Experience with design of linear and non-linear circuits (e.g., power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, filters, PLLs).
  • •Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
