Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently support the project team during design and construction stages.
  • •Design air distribution, hydronic, and automated temperature controls systems for mission-critical facilities.
  • •Integrate complex mechanical engineering requirements into facility designs and develop drawing/specification documents for issuance.
  • •Track and coordinate mechanical disciplines (HVAC, Energy, Controls, Fire Protection/Fire Alarm, Plumbing, and Fuel Oil systems) and perform design reviews prior to issuance.
  • •Perform Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) evaluations, assist with equipment selection/scheduling, construction administration tasks, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with mechanical building systems emphasis.
  • •1-3 years of experience designing mechanical systems for high performing commercial, industrial, or mission-critical/data center buildings.
  • •Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, and Pipeflow.
  • •Knowledge of building, mechanical, and energy codes and a proven track record upholding workplace safety policies.
