Job Summary

Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization that ships ambitious product and infrastructure outcomes with speed, quality, and accountability. Key Responsibilities

•Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization to deliver product and infrastructure work with speed, quality, and accountability.
•Partner with the CTO on technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap prioritization while balancing scalability and reliability.
•Own engineering execution and deadlines by defining clear goals, scope, owners, and timelines and ensuring delivery.
•Introduce lightweight systems for ownership, accountability, and visibility, and improve workflows by identifying bottlenecks across planning, QA, and releases.
•Lead recruiting end-to-end with the CTO and People team, build a middle-management layer, and codify engineering culture and standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of software engineering experience with proven leadership of 15–40+ engineers in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
•Experience building and scaling an engineering org, including hiring, org design, management systems, and performance management.
•Track record of operational excellence in engineering with predictable delivery, clear ownership, and high-quality output.
•Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, leveling, developing, and retaining high-performing engineers and managers.
•Comfort making and executing hard people decisions, paired with clear communication and alignment-setting skills.
