Job Summary

Drive strategic sourcing for defined commodities by supporting the Sourcing Group with market research, commodity strategy development, and supplier selection/management. Lead supplier price negotiations and cost-saving activities, including productivity, working capital, and lead-time reduction initiatives. Support NPI sourcing to meet schedule, cost, quality, and other project targets, deploy standardized sourcing processes, and improve efficiency through Lean and standardized work while partnering with global sourcing teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Support commodity strategy building and execution, managing project sourcing activities and leading supplier price negotiations and cost-saving efforts (e.g., VE/CE).
•Conduct market research to understand supply market dynamics and provide market insights; sponsor cross-functional teamwork to execute commodity strategies.
•Select and manage suppliers to meet material needs and drive productivity, working capital, lead-time reduction, hedging, and eSourcing activities.
•Support supplier negotiations and implement technology-driven processes, including e-Auctions for major spend opportunities; maintain sourcing metric analysis to support AOP achievement.
•Support NPI project sourcing to meet targets for schedule, cost, quality, and other key measures; deploy standardized sourcing processes with site sourcing, SQE/buyer, and improve efficiency via Lean initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree with some experience in supply management, sourcing, procurement, and leading projects.
•Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines with a strong analytical and innovative mindset.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Strong project management skills, including managing priorities and workflow.
•Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to direct a cross-functional team.
