Job Summary

Lead the Servicing Quality Control and Regulations/Compliance program to protect the value of the MSR asset by overseeing servicing QC vendors and sub-servicers. Manage a team of QC and compliance auditors, run risk and control practices, and ensure reporting to executive management. Conduct compliance reviews against federal/state servicing statutes and agency requirements, manage issue escalation via the GRC system, and drive process improvements using audit findings and servicing system data.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in protecting the MSR asset through timely review and oversight of AmeriHome’s Servicing QC vendor and sub-servicers.
•Lead and develop a team of Servicing QC and Compliance auditors, including hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development.
•Manage the Servicing QC Program, including reporting trends and results to executive management and ensuring adherence to regulatory and investor requirements.
•Assess sub-servicer compliance with applicable statutes and agency servicing requirements; create and manage monthly and annual test plans and evaluate call/complaint adherence.
•Manage and track enterprise issues identified through sub-servicer findings within the GRC system and collaborate with Mortgage Compliance and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of related experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance or a similar field.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
•Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, and industry standards.
•Advanced understanding of servicing “life-events” including Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Claims, Servicing Transfers, ARMs, Escrows, Payment Processing, and Payoffs.
•Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office Suites and advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
