Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and guidance to structural engineering teams across multiple offices, including mentoring, performance guidance, and training to support professional development.
  • •Provide proactive, strategic leadership for the structural engineering discipline to ensure project and worksite deliverables are achieved to company and industry standards.
  • •Conduct engineering review of permit applications, design plans/specifications/estimates, and support construction inspections to confirm progress and address contractor questions.
  • •Lead larger-scale, complex structural engineering projects, including overseeing budgets, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.
  • •Support pursuit and execution of infrastructure work by developing scopes/timelines/pricing, maintaining client relationships, and serving as a liaison to federal, state, local agencies and industry groups.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 12 years of experience with a college degree (or equivalent) with a strong focus on engineering, transportation, infrastructure, and/or project delivery.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in engineering; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • •Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Advanced proficiency in structural engineering principles, practices, design/build, permitting, and application to project issues.
  • •Prior direct management experience leading a team of dozen engineers across career stages.
