Key Responsibilities

  • •Query, clean, and preprocess large structured and unstructured datasets to ensure data quality and readiness.
  • •Write, test, and validate code to extract analytical features from bureau records and transactional data streams.
  • •Run and monitor existing machine learning workflows to generate model diagnostics and track system performance.
  • •Aggregate and investigate data findings to support credit policy and pilot program baselines, including sensitivity analysis.
  • •Collaborate with a cross-functional team alongside senior data scientists and business analysts to support day-to-day data and modeling needs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,600 - 133,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, science, statistics, or engineering).
  • •At least 6 months of experience or academic work using open source programming languages.
  • •At least 6 months of experience or academic work using machine learning/AI applications (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini AI Suite).
  • •Current student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
  • •Students with scholarships, honors programs, or departmental distinctions (preferred).
