Job Summary

Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver Generative AI and Machine Learning initiatives that transform Global Payments. Oversee integration of GenAI into existing products and systems, define business problem statements, and drive cross-functional execution from proof of concept through deployment. Measure adoption and business impact, stay current with GenAI/LLM developments, and ensure ethical AI practices. Also support GenAI internal community building and communications.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and manage a team to build GenAI-powered products, components, and prototypes, including assessing and integrating GenAI into existing systems.
•Translate business/customer problems into custom AI builds and third-party AI tool adoption opportunities.
•Drive cross-functional execution from idea to proof of concept, use-case development, pilot, and deployment.
•Measure and monitor adoption and usefulness of what the team builds to drive business outcomes.
•Ensure ethical AI usage and facilitate internal COE communication, community building, events, and GenAI communications strategy.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on engineering experience building production-ready GenAI and ML applications, including building enterprise-grade systems and working with AI/ML.
•At least 6 years of software experience, including several years leading an engineering team.
•Expert understanding of LLMs and GenAI application development tools and frameworks.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related area.
•Strong communication/storytelling and stakeholder management skills to align priorities and manage expectations across teams.
