Key Responsibilities

•Manage a team of high-performing engineers developing the Delegate Agent as a single, high-throughput orchestrator for the Harness ecosystem.
•Drive key technology decisions with engineers and architects to deliver world-class DevOps features.
•Champion code quality, performance, and best practices to ensure robust, scalable, production-ready releases.
•Shape and evolve the technical vision and define forward-looking roadmaps for the platform.
•Handle high-stakes customer escalations and lead during production incidents and on-call rotations.

Key Requirements

•2–4 years of leadership experience as an Engineering Manager, with a proven track record handling critical production systems and escalations.
•Deep knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency models, and enterprise-grade architecture, with 5+ years building SaaS backend in Java/Go.
•Experience with Kubernetes and containerized orchestration (a major plus).
•A track record assembling and scaling world-class engineering orgs.
•BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
