Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain measures of plant quality performance (quality costs, returns/complaints, conformance, manufacturing and supplier performance) and report/take action when goals are exceeded.
  • •Define quality system/policies/procedures for plant operations, ensure adherence, and implement changes to improve effectiveness.
  • •Conduct audits of the Plant Quality Assurance system and support ISO 9001 certification, including internal audits, registrar recertification, and ISO-aligned work instructions.
  • •Evaluate and control product and process quality through inspections, nonconformance disposition, gage/test equipment accuracy, corrective actions, and supplier quality reviews.
  • •Support new product development (PLMT meetings, new processes research, standard work collaboration) and drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean/Value Stream analysis and process improvement data.
