Job Summary

Lead the strategy, design, and day-to-day excellence of predominantly cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP. Own operational stability and reliability through scalable monitoring, alerting, incident response, automation, capacity planning, and change management. Manage and mentor cross-functional DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure Engineering teams, partner with Security for ISO 27001/27701 and Cyber Essentials alignment, and oversee disaster recovery, vendor relationships, and infrastructure budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS and GCP to meet business requirements.
•Define and execute a cloud strategy supporting scalability, cost efficiency, and business continuity, aligned with monitoring, alerting, tooling, and Technology/Product roadmaps.
•Lead and mentor DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure Engineering teams, driving continuous development and high performance.
•Ensure operational excellence with 24/7/365 stability, capacity planning, change management, performance tuning, and disaster recovery readiness.
•Partner with Security to ensure infrastructure aligns with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and Cyber Essentials, and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity operations and testing.

Key Requirements

•Experience in senior leadership of IT infrastructure focused on cloud services.
•Highly experienced managing multiple cloud operations teams across different technologies and geographies.
•Demonstrated leadership in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).
•Strong expertise in monitoring, logging, and alerting practices and tooling.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and/or equivalent qualifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
