Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive and issue raw materials, assemblies, sub-assemblies, tools, and supplies.
  • •Forward required paperwork for data entry and assist planners and buyers with material-availability processes.
  • •Using material-handling equipment and hand tools to unload/load items and deliver them to work centers and designated bin locations.
  • •Maintain accurate inventory using supply-chain tracking systems; fulfill job carts and complete scrap forms.
  • •Operate a forklift, perform visual inspection to meet quality standards, troubleshoot errors, and conduct root-cause analysis for quality/production issues; perform 5S and follow safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Previous forklift experience.
  • •Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to support business requirements.
  • •Preferred: 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience.
  • •Preferred: 3 months of experience using Eaton system controls (material management (DMM) and MRP/ERP (AS400)) or experience using hand and pneumatic tools; South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent is preferred.
