Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead hands-on development of cylindrical EDLC supercapacitor cells, including construction, prototyping, testing, process optimization, and manufacturing scale-up.
  • •Own the full cell development lifecycle, from design implementation through pilot-line execution, manufacturing transfer, and production support.
  • •Develop repeatable cell assembly methods, process flows, work instructions, tooling/fixtures, and process controls across laboratory, pilot, and production environments.
  • •Define and optimize critical process parameters for electrode handling, stacking or winding, electrolyte filling, sealing, fixturing, inspection, and assembly operations.
  • •Select and qualify manufacturing equipment and tooling, support pilot-line development and production readiness, and lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, process development, electrochemical device development, precision assembly, or related industries.
  • •Hands-on experience developing products or manufacturing processes from laboratory development through pilot builds and early production.
  • •Strong knowledge of process development, manufacturing, tooling, fixturing, and assembly, including selecting and optimizing manufacturing equipment.
  • •Ability to travel up to 25%, including domestic and international travel.
