Job Summary

Provide L1/L2/L3 support for Asset Management Trading applications within Northern Trust’s NTAM Application Support organization. Monitor production streams, troubleshoot job failures and incidents, and apply code fixes as needed. Partner with business operations and upstream/downstream application teams to resolve queries, escalate high/critical issues, and coordinate with offshore support to drive root-cause resolution and continuous service improvement. Occasional night/weekend on-call coverage is required.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide L1/L2/L3 application support for Asset Management and order management, trade routing, and other top applications.
•Monitor production streams, attend to alerts, troubleshoot incidents (including job failures), and escalate high/critical issues.
•Coordinate with offshore support and internal technology teams; raise support tickets, analyze root cause, and support efficient resolution.
•Work with business partners to analyze and resolve queries while ensuring compliance with controlled business and IT processes.
•Participate in on-call coverage after office hours (including weekends) and contribute to service improvement and application supportability.

Key Requirements

•6-9 years of experience in a technical business-facing role within a financial institution or similar.
•Experience providing technical L1/L2/L3 production support, monitoring production streams, and supporting workflow designs for supported applications.
•Ability to troubleshoot production issues (including job failures), analyze root cause, and apply code fixes as needed.
•In-depth knowledge of investment banking and trading applications, including Charles River IMS.
•Extensive knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, plus Unix/Linux command knowledge and scripting (ServiceNow experience is beneficial).
