Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver electrical and control system projects for water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring quality and compliance with WSP standards.
  • •Lead project teams through design, tendering, and construction phases, driving successful outcomes for clients and communities.
  • •Prepare feasibility studies, preliminary engineering designs, and capital cost estimates that influence critical infrastructure decisions.
  • •Design and configure DCS and PLC/HMI applications, supporting commissioning and field activities.
  • •Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and registration with EGBC (or eligibility for immediate registration)
  • •10+ years of consulting engineering experience, including water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • •Proven ability to manage and deliver electrical and control system projects from concept through commissioning
  • •Expertise in Canadian Electrical Code and related standards, with hands-on experience in MV/LV power systems and instrumentation design
  • •Strong business acumen with experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, and managing client expectations
