Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead transmission projects and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers.
  • •Formulate project scope documents, establish budgets, and create and maintain schedules.
  • •Chair client project meetings and facilitate effective communication between clients, managers, and internal teams to ensure alignment with requirements, scope and schedule.
  • •Address client inquiries spanning various technical areas and manage client expectations.
  • •Prepare project work scope documents, schedules, budgets, and sequence of work for construction of projects; work with the RUS Transmission Design Guide and manage small to mid-size projects.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for large capital projects
  • •Engineer in Training Certification
  • •Demonstrate proficiency in PLS-CADD design software
  • •Demonstrate proficiency in the NESC
