Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and design the technical boundaries of the licensing portfolio (IP blocks, SDKs, reference hardware) and ensure modular integration into host chipsets.
  • •Oversee optimization and integration of audio code libraries across wireless audio SoC and DSP platforms.
  • •Oversee development of comprehensive Technical Data Packages (TDPs), including reference designs, tuning tools, SDKs, APIs, and documentation for onboarding licensees.
  • •Develop and champion developer-facing tooling and GUI-based tuning utilities for calibrating ANC, EQ, and spatial audio parameters.
  • •Serve as the primary technical authority during licensing evaluations, providing technical support, reference tuning, and architectural reviews, while partnering on IP protection and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in consumer audio, acoustics, or hearables product development with emphasis on embedded software and DSP algorithm development.
  • •At least 4 years managing software IP delivery, technical transfers, or external licensing integrations.
  • •Deep expertise in real-time audio processing software, including fixed-point math optimization and low-latency scheduling.
  • •Expertise in core hearable software pillars such as ANC, spatial audio/HRTF, echo cancellation, wind noise reduction, and ML-based voice pickup.
  • •Strong fluency in C/C++, Python (modeling), RTOS, Bluetooth LE Audio/Auracast pipelines, and standard audio codecs (LC3, AAC, LDAC).
