Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the group GenAI platform used by all teams, including the LLM/MCP gateways, agent platform, plugin marketplace, spec-driven tooling, evals, and agent observability to shorten time-to-production.
  • •Lead forward-deployed embedded engineering into marketing, HR, finance, and operations to redesign processes as AI-native and generalize successful patterns back into the platform.
  • •Build GenAI capabilities across HelloFresh via curriculum, cohorts, and per-function enablement paths measured on demonstrated skills.
  • •Co-create group GenAI strategy with central leadership, collaborate with Product to deliver a sequenced roadmap, and own budget and investment decisions for tools and processes.
  • •Lead and develop Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers across Berlin and Warsaw, ensuring engineering standards, team health, and safe/cost-aware adoption with guardrails, evals, cost control, and compliance boundaries.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading Engineering Managers across more than one discipline, accountable for delivery and technical quality.
  • •Designed, built, and shipped agentic systems, including context engineering, tool calling, agent orchestration, retrieval, and evaluation harnesses.
  • •Built internal platforms and can differentiate between platform teams that ship features vs. remove friction.
  • •Led transformation programs or function-wide process redesigns that continued delivering results after you moved on.
  • •Owned technology or AI strategy at organization/business unit level, including build-vs-buy decisions and sequencing from pilots to production.
