Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct and publish research in quantum computing and related areas
  • •Develop and implement quantum and classical algorithms, and analyze their complexity
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across HPC, software engineering, and data science
  • •Contribute to software development practices and possible tooling around quantum experiments
  • •Engage with external research programs and dissemination of results to the scientific community

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in quantum computing, ideally with at least 2 years of experience in quantum computing research after your PhD, postdoc, or in industry
  • •Master quantum algorithms, classical algorithms, and complexity theory, with publications in at least one of these areas
  • •Strong scientific programming in Python, ideally with C++ experience; ideally fundamentals in software engineering
  • •Experience with collaborative research projects (ANR, Horizon Europe, ERC, etc.) and familiarity with these mechanisms
  • •Knowledge of high-performance computing (HPC) is a plus
