Job Summary

Design, develop, and support applications for the customer journey, while improving user experience through best-practice engineering and appropriate technical design patterns. Lead and coach developers to meet delivery goals, establish an effective support model (including third parties), and provide L1/L2 production support with timely problem resolution. Support engineering best practices such as logging, alerting, monitoring, and fault tolerance, and help drive governance activities including IT controls and BCP/DR drills.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage services for CDMS and act as a key enabler for customer journey capabilities.
•Promote and implement technology to improve user experience and design/develop customer-journey applications.
•Lead and coach new developers to meet delivery goals and delivery metrics.
•Apply strong software engineering practices, including using technical design patterns to improve code flexibility and maintainability.
•Provide L1/L2 application support, ensure timely problem resolution, and support governance activities including ITSO governance, IT controls, and BCP/DR drills.

Key Requirements

•Experience in Java, Spring, J2EE, and SQL, with a passion for new technologies.
•Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
•Experience with relational databases and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis), plus event brokers such as Kafka.
•Familiarity with software development design patterns and RESTful API design/development (including WebSocket).
•Working experience with DevOps/CI-CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar) in an Agile environment; knowledge of incident and problem management, ideally with containerization using Kubernetes.
