Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply and develop fire engineering expertise from concept and design development through to construction and building occupation.
  • •Develop and/or lead performance-based design briefs, fire engineering assessments, and technical reports across building and infrastructure projects.
  • •Undertake fire engineering analysis and advisory services, including computational modelling for fluid flow, fire dynamics, and evacuation as appropriate.
  • •Contribute to successful project delivery and take on increasing technical, project, and client responsibility.
  • •Collaborate with senior team members, support project management and delivery, and mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience delivering fire safety projects within a consulting environment.
  • •A relevant Engineering qualification (preferably in Fire Engineering).
  • •Thorough understanding of the Building Code of Australia.
  • •Experience preparing performance based design briefs, fire engineering reports, and fire engineering strategies.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
