Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, and develop a team of primary engineers and technical specialists.
  • •Prepare primary electrical system designs and deliverables for transmission and distribution projects.
  • •Perform primary engineering for AIS/GIS substations, including general arrangement drawings, SLDs, and interconnection/termination documentation.
  • •Design earthing and lightning protection systems, and perform power system studies such as short-circuit force calculations and fault current analysis.
  • •Coordinate with civil teams, develop specifications/BOMs, support bids and technical reports, and ensure designs comply with required codes and quality processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • •12–15 years of work experience is preferred.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license (or equivalent) in the relevant field.
  • •Prior experience leading large design engineering teams performing grid substation design in a global consultancy is preferred.
  • •HV plant design for EHV grid substations and FEED or detailed design of high-voltage installations (132kV to 400kV) are mandatory.
