Key Responsibilities

  • •Strategically monitor and report on quality KPIs derived from defect rates, corrective action effectiveness, and response timeliness.
  • •Serve as the primary technical link between suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve non-conformances and champion long-term corrective actions.
  • •Execute detailed supplier audits to verify quality management systems, manufacturing capability, and total production capacity against technical specifications.
  • •Direct the First Article Inspection (FAI) process by establishing planning requirements and determining the necessity for full or partial (delta) FAI assessments.
  • •Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process early, including evaluating tooling and gauging before production.
