Key Responsibilities

  • •Offer education and counseling through one-on-one sessions, consultations with command or providers, briefings/presentations, and referrals outside counseling sessions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years’ experience, or a high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •Must obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the OCI process.
  • •Must hold an AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
