Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance by ensuring timely work order generation/closure and executing PM tasks.
  • •Liaise with vendors to acquire permits, plan progressive replacements, track status in maintenance tracking files, and manage scheduling.
  • •Assist or lead root cause analysis using 8D (including 5-Whys), verification, corrective actions, and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • •Administer and maintain maintenance documentation (SOP, risk assessment, energy isolation procedure, pre-task plan) and keep equipment maintenance records for traceability.
  • •Supervise outsourced service providers, attend troubleshooting/recovery, and support startup testing/commissioning and installation of capital equipment during construction milestones.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) covering 90% of the program, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant mechanical field.
  • •Solid understanding of maintenance practices and installation work.
  • •Hands-on experience in mechanical systems maintenance, including HVAC/air handling and exhaust systems, wet scrubbers/solvent abatement, chillers, cooling towers, and pumps.
  • •Ability to analyze maintenance or overhaul service reports and understand schematic/single-line drawings and related documentation.
  • •Ability to work in a team environment; experience analyzing PLC drawings (electrical VSD) is a plus.
