Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical authority for well engineering activities across Integrated Solutions projects and Centers of Excellence.
  • •Lead well engineering activities in line with HSE policies, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards and regulations, including defining technical requirements for rigs, equipment, services, and providers.
  • •Develop, review, and approve well designs, well programs, operational procedures, and technical documentation across drilling, completions, intervention, and abandonment operations.
  • •Prepare and review well cost estimates, operational schedules, risk assessments, and contingency plans; lead technical assurance activities such as peer reviews and quality reviews.
  • •Support execution by monitoring performance and troubleshooting, leading root cause analysis, and ensuring lessons learned and technical reports are prepared and shared.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Significant experience in well engineering, including drilling, completions, intervention, optimization, or abandonment operations.
  • •Expertise in well design, operational planning, engineering analysis, and well execution.
  • •Experience across a variety of well applications and operating environments, including integrated projects and/or operator environments.
  • •Valid Well Control certification and strong understanding of well integrity and risk management principles.
