Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Service Manager in day-to-day service center operations, including managing the service business and customer service interactions, reporting, and repairs.
  • •Manage and develop service team members and performance through ongoing feedback, training support, and guidance.
  • •Participate in selection, training, and development of service employees, ensuring positions are filled timely, and support implementation of training.
  • •Ensure work orders are detailed, complete, properly filled out, and follow the flow of work to provide the best customer experience.
  • •Delegate and direct service tasks, manage timecards and schedules, address client concerns, and perform quality control checks on repaired vehicles.

  • •Automotive service experience, including understanding KPIs such as Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Repair Completion Time, Days Down, and PDI Completion/Turnaround time.
  • •Ability and willingness to learn and take on more responsibility, developing into a management position.
  • •Proven collaboration, motivation, and leadership skills to lead individuals and groups, including vendors.
  • •Exceptional organization with the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment.
  • •Advanced ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office, and ability to learn proprietary DMS software.
