Senior Warhead Design Engineer to design warheads and complex ordnance systems, transition prototypes to production, and collaborate across mechanical design, testing, safety, manufacturing, and analysis teams on high-reliability defense hardware in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Design warheads and complex ordnance/munitions systems and help transition them from prototype to production.
•Create high-fidelity prototype parts and assemblies to assess performance through testing.
•Support arena, ground, flight, and system-level testing of munitions products.
•Develop mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, test procedures, technical reports, and supporting engineering documentation.
•Partner with analysis, test, safety, manufacturing, vehicle integration, and operations teams to solve complex engineering problems.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•BS or higher in mechanical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline.
•2-5+ years’ experience as an individual contributing engineer, focused on mechanical design, analysis, and testing of naval ordnance/munitions systems.
•Experience creating complex mechanical designs using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or NX.
•Test experience including data acquisition, data analysis, and project coordination.
•Ability to travel as required for testing (surges up to 25%).
